April Showers

Well, we are nearing the end of April and boy, did the month fly by.  It all started out chipper, but it is turning into a month of dark clouds and violent storms.  We had some internal issues; fixed them.  Then we were wardec'd.  This is now going into the second week as it was extended.  Production in the beginning of the month started off strong, but I have run aground waiting out this dec.  War decs are just something you have to deal with.  Believe it or not, they are good for the economy.  It helps turn the inventories and opens up opportunities.

That being said, my monthly report will be coming out next week.  This month, due in part to the war dec, I have shifted my focus to station trading.  I am still selling off the last of my manufactured inventory and that has kept things going.  Station trading is just a side job.  I am not full-bore into it, it is just something to do when logged in.  Fortunately, I have made some pretty impressive trades for high margin making it worth the time.

Other than that, there isn't too much going on.  I've been pretty busy, so I haven't had a lot of time to work on my blog.  I am looking forward to the summer expansion though.  I hope it is not a flop like the past few.  I would like to see more new players checking out EVE but they need to make sure that they cater to the bitter-vet as a priority.  I think they really need to work on the corporation/alliance UI and most importantly the POS UI.  It is still as terrible as ever.  It will give me a good opportunity to blog about POS management though.  I am sure we will see an uptick in new POS towers and people with limited knowledge of how to operate them.  It's easy to do the wrong thing or have inefficient layouts.  Most of the time, you realize it too late.

Anyway, just wanted to drop a line.  Hope to get some meaty posts soon.
